According to entertainment magazine Variety, Xenomania will work on the music for a new film, "The Chalet Girl".
Directed by Phil Traill and written by Tom Williams, "The Chalet Girl" tells the story of a working-class girl who lands a job at a glamorous ski resort to find out she's out of her depth, until she discovers her natural snowboarding genius.
The romantic comedy stars Felicity Jones, Ed Westwick, Tamsin Egerton, Christine Baranski and Bill Nighy, as well as professional snowboarder Tara Dakides. Sportswear giant Roxy/Quicksilver will brand the film, and the production will work with pop music production house Xenomania on the music.
The project appears on the slate of the new U.K. sales joint venture between Metropolis International Sales and Timeless Films, and will be launched at the European Film Market.
