Annie has revealed in an interview with Tellé Records that she will return to the Xenomania studios in May to work with Brian Higgins and Fred Falke."My Love Is Better" will (finally) be released as a single in June, in Annie's own label Totally Records. The album should be out in September:
Annie: Yes, ‘My Love Is Better’ will be out on my own label Totally in June! In addition to that, I will return to the UK and spend some time in the studio with Brian Higgins and Fred Falke.Tellé: Cool. So what about the album? How long do we have to wait?
Annie: It coming in the very beginning of September. I can’t give you the name of the label yet, but it’s definitely coming!
Meanwhile, the Richard X-produced single "Anthonio" will be released in digital format on 4th May and in physical formats on 11th May.
Annie began recording the album Don't Stop in the summer of 2007, with Brian Higgins working as executive producer.The album was originally scheduled for a release in October 2008, but a change in management at Island Records led Annie's album to be delayed several times, and she eventually left the label.
